A great piece by Roger Ebert. And the photos are priceless.

It’s a very beautiful and touching piece. Roger’s memories of Gene, particularly his knowledge, his love for games of skill, and their evening together at Harvard are so wonderful and sweet that I think they actually make the readers feel closer to him. And those photos are wonderful, especially the Sneak Previews set, the shots of the Siskel Film Center, and the clips of the tribute show which is still beautiful and heartbreaking to watch.
Gene Siskel will always be missed, never forgotten.
