With the news of the death of Roger Ebert, I thought I would share with you this:
I am fifteen years old, and a aspiring film critic. You, Ebert and Gene Siskel have been the biggest influences on me and becoming a critic. You all taught me to love movies like “The Godfather”, “Fargo” and “Inglorious Basterds” and hate “North”, “Scooby-Doo” and “Movie 43”.
I have written over 200 reviews over the past two years, and still am trying to keep myself going!
Thanks, Richard, Gene and Roger. Rest in Peace, Roger and Gene! You will be missed!
